As the premiere international organization for Electrical and Computer Engineers, the IEEE can provide you with access to the latest publications, professional development courses, networking opportunities and special benefits necessary to succeed in electrical engineering and related fields.

Student Membership dues for the IEEE are considerably less than those for other members, which is an additional reason why ECE students should consider an IEEE membership. The membership signup process only takes a few minutes online, so click here to become the next Student Member of IEEE!

The Auburn University Student Branch does not collect dues, and welcomes all ECE and other students to participate in our activities. We have regular meetings on Mondays, which include guest speakers from the industry, professors talking about their research, as well as professional development sessions. Our other activities include a spring picnic, and helping organize annual events such as E-Day (open-house for high school students) and the K-12 BEST Robotics competition.
