Workshop Call for Paper

Wireless networks have experienced an explosive growth during the last few years. The development of cellular, as well as wireless local and metropolitan area networks gradually makes the notion of ubiquitous computing a reality. As one of the most advanced application of wireless networks, the sensor networks share the similar definition, but put more stringent resource conditions at each sensor node. Researches have led effective means to implement wireless networks and allow users to enjoy greater mobility and connectivity. Wireless networks intended for various commercial and military applications keep challenging researchers in the design of better architectures and protocols. As more applications of wireless networks are discovered, we believe that the technological advances will play an important role in our modern civilization. Their impact ranges from medical, to military, to industrial, to societal. This workshop intends to bring together leading researchers and practitioners to identify the fundamental challenges and future prospects of wireless networks, especially cellular networks, local and metropolitan networks, and sensor networks. Technical topics of the workshop include but are definitely not limited to the following:
